2. Device Permissions

The App requests permissions only when needed for a feature, including Photos, Contacts, Calendars, Camera, Microphone, and Face ID. You may deny or withdraw permissions in iOS Settings, but the corresponding feature may not work.

4. Media, Contacts, Calendars, and Private Album

4.1 Photos, Videos, and Compression

Media similarity analysis and compression are performed on-device and process only media that is locally available. An asset that exists only in iCloud and has not been downloaded may be skipped. Results are algorithmic recommendations and may contain false matches, missed matches, or inaccurate storage estimates. Preview items and decide what to select, compress, save, or delete.

4.2 Contacts and Calendars

Contact merges/deletions and calendar deletions modify system data. The App acts only on items you select and confirm. Contact backups are stored as local vCard files. Verify that an appropriate backup exists before important operations.

4.3 Private Album

Private Album content is stored in the App's local sandbox using iOS file protection. PIN verification material is stored in Keychain, and you may enable Face ID. Private Album is not a cloud backup service. Uninstalling the App, device failure, system cleanup, or loss of access credentials may make content unrecoverable.

If “Delete Originals After Import” is enabled, successfully imported originals are moved to Recently Deleted through the system flow. Restore, share, and camera capture actions occur only when you initiate them.

5. User Choices, Deletion, and Backups

• Photo/video deletion uses Apple's PhotoKit confirmation and moves items to Recently Deleted. The App does not read or empty that album.
• Contact and calendar deletion may not have the same recovery mechanism as Photos. Review your selection carefully.
• Compression may reduce quality, resolution, or compatibility. Do not delete an original until the new file is saved successfully.
• Maintain independent backups appropriate to your needs. You are responsible for your final choices.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use the App for unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, privacy-invasive, or security-abusive purposes. Prohibited conduct includes unauthorized access to another person's mailbox, contacts, calendars, or media; bypassing authorization or confirmation; reverse engineering; attacks; unauthorized bulk automation; and resale of data.

You must have the right to process content you import, view, organize, share, or delete. You are responsible for third-party claims arising from your account use, content, or unlawful conduct.

7. Paid Services and Apple Subscriptions

The App may offer auto-renewable subscriptions or other paid features. Product names, benefits, trials, prices, taxes, periods, and promotions are those shown in the App and Apple's purchase confirmation.

8. Intellectual Property

The App's software, code, interfaces, icons, text, trademarks, and related materials belong to us or their lawful owners. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer, or use them to create a competing service without authorization.

You retain existing rights in photos, videos, contacts, calendars, and email content that you lawfully own. These Terms do not transfer ownership of that content to us.

9. Third-Party Services

The App may use Apple App Store, StoreKit, PhotoKit, Contacts, EventKit, RevenueCat, AppsFlyer, and security capabilities provided by the operating system. Apple handles distribution, payment, and subscription transactions; RevenueCat validates purchases and synchronizes membership entitlements; AppsFlyer is used for attribution and analytics only where applicable authorization and configuration are present. These services are operated independently and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We do not control the availability, processing time, content, policies, or security measures of third-party services. A third-party outage, change, or discontinuation may make related features temporarily unavailable. The App does not provide or attribute any account-login or email service that it does not actually offer.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Scanning, similarity detection, duplicate identification, compression, and organization results are calculated from data provided by the device and its operating system and may contain omissions or errors. You should review results and make any necessary backups before deleting, merging, compressing, importing, or restoring content. Private Album security depends on the device, system permissions, and your passcode or biometric settings; forgotten credentials, device failure, or system corruption may make content unrecoverable.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect loss, data loss, or business interruption caused by device failure, system permissions, connectivity, third-party services, force majeure, or user actions. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits non-waivable consumer rights, product liability, or liability arising from our wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

11. Changes and Termination

We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for product, technical, legal, or security reasons. We will notify you of material changes through the App, the relevant page, or another reasonable method. Discontinuation does not affect refunds or subscription rights that have already accrued under applicable law.

You may stop using and uninstall the App at any time. Uninstalling does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through the Apple App Store; you must cancel it through Apple’s subscription management process. After termination, you remain responsible for the retention, deletion, and backup of local data according to your device and these Terms.

12. Updates, Governing Law, and Disputes

We may update these Terms and will notify you of material changes through the App, the document page, or another reasonable method. We will obtain new consent where required.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without limiting mandatory consumer and data protection rights in your country or region. Disputes should first be resolved amicably, then submitted to a competent court where the Company is located, except where mandatory law permits a consumer to bring a claim in the consumer's place of residence.
